106 Written Curriculum 106. WRITTEN CURRICULUM A written curriculum shall be prepared for each course of study adopted by the board in order to direct and assist the professional staff toward the attainment of goals sought by that curriculum. Content Written curricula shall contain: 1. Objectives. 2. Instructional activities designed to achieve the objectives. 3. Estimated time to complete activities and/or units of instruction. 4. Description of instructional materials. 5. Evaluation criteria intended to test the extent to which learning objectives have been achieved. The Superintendent shall be responsible for the preparation of written curricula, making every effort to ensure participation of appropriate staff members and resource personnel. Copies of all written curriculum shall be kept on file in the central office, and on the school computer network. References: School Code – 24 P.S.
