232 Participation in School Affairs 232. PARTICIPATION IN SCHOOL AFFAIRS The Board believes that students should participate in the governance of school activities at levels appropriate to their ages and competencies. Suggestions for the improvement of the schools may be offered by any student, provided they are of a constructive nature and contribute toward the realization of the educational goals of the district. The Superintendent shall develop guidelines to implement this policy which:provide for the submission, consideration, and response to constructive student suggestions; designate the manner by which students shall be selected for participation in school matters; and ensure that student participation is fairly representational of the whole student body.
