000 Introduction 000. INTRODUCTION The Board of School Directors of the Lewisburg Area School District pursuant to Title 24, the School Code of 1949, as amended; Act 84, the "Sunshine Law" of 1986; and the Public Official and Employee Ethics Act of 1978, as amended establishes rules and regulations for the governance of the Board and for the safe and orderly operation of the School District. Section 1. Bylaws The rules and regulations which pertain to Board governance shall be hereinafter referred to as "Bylaws" and shall be policy series 000: Local Board Procedures. Section 2. Policies The rules and regulations, including guidelines, which pertain to the safe and orderly operation of the School District shall be hereinafter referred to as "policies" and shall be policy series: 100: Programs, 200: Students, 300: Administrative Employees, 400: Professional Employees, 500: Support Employees, 600: Finances, 700: Property, 800: Operations, and 900: Community.
